Schimmel Siamese & Oriental Cats are Oriental cat breeders based in Oxford, UK. We sometimes have Oriental and Siamese kittens for sale. We also have 2 Oriental Stud Cats and online kitten diaries.

The Schimmel prefix is jointly owned by Kat and Graham Waddon and our home is shared with two human adults, one, Rottweiler, one rescue dog, the tropical fish and of course our Bengals, Siamese and Oriental cats.

Our prefix, SCHIMMEL, is registered with TICA and the GCCF as are all of our cats. Our kittens are all registered with TICA. Our chosen prefix is named after one of our hobbies which is jigsaw puzzles. Some of my favourite puzzles are done by an artist called Schimmel and his images of wild animals and sea life are incredibly beautiful.

All of our cats live indoors, including our Oriental stud cat, Ashanti. Each of our fur children have their own special personality and we are very lucky to be owned by such wonderful fur kids. Our cats and dogs and chinchillas all live in harmony here in our house and take up quite a lot of our time.

We bought our first breeding queen in 2002, and we had our first litters at the end of 2003 and we have been showing our cats since 2002.

Our aim is to produce Oriental kittens of excellent health, temperament, and type. We are very proud of the babies we have bred so far as they have all settled in with their new families exceptionally well, some have also appeared on the show bench and done quite well.

We live in a very quiet area and are fortunate enough to be able to stay home with our cats day and evening. There is of course, the occasional Saturday where we are either at football matches, or cat shows. Apart from this, other hobbies include, jigsaw puzzles, DIY, watching films, reading, and chatting on the phone to other "cat people".
